With an ideal central location for the University, Shopping, Harbour & Oil Sectors and Airport, The Jays is the first choice for visitors and commuters whilst visiting Aberdeen.
I booked a double room for my daughter who needed a place near to Aberdeen University for her final exams. The owners were extremely warm and welcoming and she loved the great breakfast. The room was very comfortable for her and she would definitely recommend
I came to Aberdeen with a group of friends for a conference at the University and few of us stayed in Jays Guesthouse. We couldn't have made a better choice. The owners are very friendly, the rooms are nicely decorated and very clean. Breakfast was simply delicious. Would highly recommend to all.
Alice and George were very welcoming and friendly. I found both of them to be polite and endearing. I was particularly impressed that they knew each guests name! It was such a personalised touch! My room was spotless and very comfortable. The location was perfect for my interview at the university and it was very quiet which meant I could revise.
The place is impeccable: clean, homey, beautifully decorated and fully furnished. Our host were always friendly and attentive. The breakfast was marvellous, best part of my day the couple of days I stayed there. Very much recommended! Stayed April 2015, travelled with friends
As an extensive traveller and someone who isn't afraid to highlight poor accommodation, I would like to point out how professional, courteous and welcoming this establishment is. From the initial phone call to book, the welcome, the service and the fantastic breakfast the whole experience was flawless. The accommodation itself was perfectly situated, clean and very well presented. I picked the Guest House based on its location and reviews, however should I return to Aberdeen I'll be going out of my way to stay here again. Excellent.
We stood at Jay guesthouse two nights and it was a very pleasant experience. Everything was extremely clean; rooms are not really big but you'd feel comfortable. Despite this is not a new house, you will find everything you need: good heating, kettle, hair dryer, a small desk for working. The owners take care of every little detail and they deliver a great experience. I would recommend you to order the Scottish breakfast! Stayed April 2015, travelled on business
